There are about 62 museums in Mexico-City! But nearly all of them are closed on Mondays. A warden of a museum explained it as follows: Because of free entry on Sundays, a great many visitors come, so that salas and buildings have to be cleaned thouroughly the next day. But I am not prepared  to follow his conclusion completely - because in the Mexican museums exists an exceptional tidiness!
